Kevin Murphy has spent his 20’s and 30’s building the largest mutual aid network on the Northwest Side, and believes a neighor-to-neighbor service model is critical to the long-term success of our District. He will prioritize working with local leaders and community organizations to build the a mutual aid network across District 9 to support low income, disabled, and senior residents with essential home maintenance needs.

Private-public partnerships are front and center in Kevin Murphy’s campaign under his philosophy of providing the best services to Cook County residents and empowering job creators in the process. He proposes brokering partnerships between select corner stores and produce providers in District 9 to ensure that all Cook County residents have access to healthy fruits and vegetables wherever they live.

Kevin Murphy believes that dialogue and democracy are the solution to the challenges facing our county and communities currently. Thinking creatively through monthly district-wide policy juries and think tanks will allow constituents to feel a part of the decision making processes in Cook County. Kevin leads with social media, events, and forums to ensure all people can share what’s needed from Cook County.
